Main Characters There are many fascinating characters in "Rolling Girls." Below is an introduction to the main characters. Tokorozawa- Moritomo Nozomi - The only daughter of Moritomo, a grilled dumpling shop in Tokorozawa, and a rookie trainee for the vigilante group Hiyoshicho Propellers. She grew up admiring Machami, who lives next door, as if she were her own sister, and still does. Her childhood nickname was "Nonsuke." Her favorite food is melon bread.
- Kosaka Yukina - A runaway girl with poor sense of direction who travels with Nozomi. She actually wants to travel alone. She is shy and speaks politely. Her childhood nickname was "Yukippe". Her favorite food is sushi and she is left-handed.
- Hibiki Ai - A lively girl who travels with Nozomi. She is straightforward and easygoing, but she tends to take the easy way out. She just wants to become stronger. Her favorite foods are hamburger steaks, curry rice, and grilled meat. Her childhood nickname was "U-tan."
- Chiaya Misono - A girl with double teeth who travels with Nozomi and the others. She collects mysterious power stones. Her favorite food is Moritomo's takoyaki. For some reason, she knows the childhood nicknames of Nozomi, Yukina, and Ai.
- Utoku Machami - Leader of the Tokorozawa vigilante group "Hiyoshicho Propellers". The only daughter of the teahouse "Utokuen", she is childhood friends with Nozomi and they are like sisters. She is a kind and reliable older sister, but she also has a surprisingly childish side. Nozomi calls her "Ma-chan".
- Matcha Green - A masked peace agent. One of the Mosas. At first glance, he seems to be a member of the "Sentai Mono" gang, but the existence of Red and Blue has not been confirmed. The person inside seems to be a woman (though he claims that there is no one inside). When a battle continues for a certain period of time, he becomes short of breath.
- Kuniko Shikko - Hired leader of the Kitatama Dangers, a vigilante group in Higashimurayama. Nicknamed the "Weapon-wielding Empress," she is a drifter with a large collection of weapons. She desires a matcha green suit.
- Yukari Otonashi - A staff officer of the Kitatama Dangers who adores Kuniko. Although she has a well-mannered way of speaking and appears competent at first glance, in reality she is not.
- Misono Haruka - The president of Tokorozawa. She seems to support Matcha Green's cross-border peace activities.
- Kuranosuke Momiyama - Secretary to President Tokorozawa. A capable man with obesity.
- Hinatayo Moritomo - Nozomi's mother. She runs a grilled dumpling shop in Tokorozawa. She is a laid-back, cheerful, and cool person. When she was young, she was an active member of a motorcycle touring team.
- Moritomo Tomomori - Nozomi's father. Occupation unknown. He seems to have a serious job despite appearances, but he doesn't hold any secrets that are central to the story. A son-in-law who loves his family deeply.
- Hiyoshicho Propellers - A vigilante group with its headquarters on Propeller Street in Tokorozawa. Its activities range from beautification campaigns to maintaining public order. There are many other members as well.
Tokyo- Aki Habara - The leader of the Tokyo national vigilante group, the "Two-Headed Knights." A small moss. She wears the costume of the armored knight Thunderlord, the protagonist of a certain manga. She used to be passionate about her mission to protect everyone's dreams, but as the training level of the general members and the morals of Comiket participants have improved, she has become bored and is beginning to become obsessed with materialistic desires and delusions.
- Noriko Suzumoto - A regular member of the "Two-Headed Knights." The only daughter of "Suzumoto Auto." She had previously cared for Yukina, who had collapsed in Tokyo.
- Suzumoto Text - The female president of "Suzumoto Auto", an auto repair shop located in a certain place in Tokyo. She was the vice-leader of the vigilante group "Tokyo Always", which once existed, and rode the Tokyo Tower Robo to quell the unrest during the Great Tokyo Battle. She is still a charismatic figure to those who remember her back then. She is skilled in all aspects of motorcycle and automobile maintenance, as well as painting itasha-style vehicles.
- Akutaka Ryunosuke - A novelist who was living at Suzumoto Auto until recently. He was once the leader of Tokyo Always, but retired because he dislikes conflict. As the founder of Always Komima, he has some followers, but his whereabouts are currently unknown.
- Ken, Tatsuhiko, and Sumire - Members of the Kitatama Dangers, a vigilante group from Higashimurayama. They were driven out of Tokyo by the expansion of Always Komima. They are secretly planning to get revenge on Komima.
- Banko - A lady at the border checkpoint. She was dispatched by the Iwate vigilante group "Bankara" and has a strong accent. The same faces are seen at various checkpoints, but she says, "The faces of outsiders all look the same."
Nagoya Edition- Himeko Uotora - A budding Shachihoko (carp) craftsman. She has a complex about her father. She went on a journey to train as an accessory craftsman in Naniwa, but returned to her hometown after five years to help bring peace to her hometown. She met Nozomi when they were in elementary school, and once decorated her "Moonlight Stone" with silverwork, and she herself has a "stone." She keeps a suspicious koala as a pet.
- Suzuka Tomokame - Leader of the former Mie national vigilante group "Mie Motors". A genius rider who is said to have no rivals anymore, he is called "Lightning-fast Shuriken" due to his hairstyle, but he has not entered any races recently. In order to peacefully merge with the former Aichi, he submitted a request to Matcha Green, offering "stones" as a reward. He is said to be a descendant of the Iga ninja.
- Dandy Manager - Manager of the coffee shop "Mach-Unten" and leader of the vigilante group "Aichi Tenmusu". He is so dandy that people started calling him Dandy Manager. Mosa can stop a runaway motorcycle with just one fist, but he doesn't carry any "rocks".
- Uotoramori - The current head of Uotora Kobo, a company that specializes in Shachihoko (roof ornaments). For generations, they have been involved in almost all of the Shachihoko ornaments that hang from the eaves of the surrounding area, including the Nagoya Castle tower. Recently, he seems to have been suffering from back pain.
- Akogi - Vice-leader of Mie Motors. He has a hot temper. His family home is near the restaurant that first created Tenmusu and Miso Katsu, and he has a stronger rivalry with the old Aichi region than anyone else.
- The Uotora Family's Neighbors - The Uotora family's neighbors. They each run their own businesses, such as a diner, an electronics store, a construction company, and a souvenir shop.
- Night Pub "GIDOLA" - The owner of Nagoya's night pub "GIDOLA" and its number one hostess.
- Aichi Tenmusu - A national vigilante group from the former Aichi Prefecture. All members are motor sports enthusiasts, but because of the constant troubles they have had in races with the former Mie Prefecture, they have refrained from participating and instead work as mascot employees at the coffee shops that crowd along the public roads. The leader of the group is the dandy manager of the coffee shop "Mach Unten."
- Mie Motors - The former Mie national vigilante group. Its headquarters is at the old Suzuka circuit. The leader is Suzuka Tomokame, a current top racer, but the actual management is done by the deputy leader, Akogi.
Kyoto- Ichijo Misa - Leader of the Kyoto vigilante group "Kamogawa Rockers". She oversees the management and security of the live shows that are held every day at shrines and temples, and is also active as a rock musician herself. She uses a carved "stone" as a pick. In times of emergency, she is a straightforward, big sister type of Mosa who fights with her guitar as her weapon.
- Mamechiyo - Leader of the national vigilante group "Maiko Dosudosu" in Kyoto. While devoting herself to her art every day, she leads the maiko of the entertainment district and protects the peace throughout Kyoto. There are rumors that her term of office is nearing the end when she will be required to change her collar (to become a full-fledged geisha), but the truth of the matter is unknown. The sticks of her favorite shamisen are decorated with "stones" similar to those of Ichijo Misa.
- Shuten-doji - The leader of the Shuten faction, a group of thugs living in Mt. Oe. In the past, he was violent in the meat and potato conflict with Hiroshima, but recently he has been causing trouble in the mainland (Kyoto city) under the pretext of "killing boredom." There is a hidden reason why he is given preferential treatment because he is also a stylish man (someone who helps geisha and maiko with their performing arts) who hangs out in the entertainment district. He seems to be plotting to disrupt the annual festival "Kiyomizu-dera Rock Explosion" and have a grand "killing boredom."
- Kamogawa Rockers - A vigilante group that manages and guards all live shows in Kyoto. Its headquarters is along Kiyomizuzaka, which leads to Kiyomizu-dera Temple, and it is made up of mostly young people who love rock music. The leader of the group is Ichijo Misa, who leads a rock band with the same name as the vigilante group.
- Maiko Dosudosu - A national vigilante group that protects the peace throughout Kyoto. The headquarters is a geisha house in the Gion Kobu entertainment district, and the actual work is carried out by maiko before they change their collar and apprentices. Due to their long history, they do not get along well with the up-and-coming Kamogawa Rockers due to their nature. The current leader is the 19th generation Mamechiyo.
- Shuten's Sect - A group of ruffians based in Mt. Oe, towering in the northwest of Kyoto. They love flashy festivals and rough going, and their mischief causes trouble for the people of Kyoto. They are led by Shuten-doji.
- Kikushino - The proprietress of a geisha house and a famous geisha in the entertainment district. She is also a mosa who once served as the leader of the "Maiko Dos Dos" troupe.
- Han-chan and Ma-bo - Former members of the legendary three-piece rock band Momiage Hammers. Han-chan played drums and Ma-bo played guitar. They currently run a record label in Kyoto and support the management and promotion of Kiyomizudera Rock Explosion.
Okayama and Hiroshima Edition- Nayotake Kaguya - The heir to the Nayotake family, a gangster family that controlled the Hiroshima national vigilante group "Nayotake Moonlight." Born into a yakuza family, she was raised as an honest child after the family's downfall, and now works as a poster girl for a small okonomiyaki restaurant called "Nayotake Bamboo." She has a quiet sense of chivalry burning in her heart.
- Shima Ishitsuka - Leader of the Ishitsuka Stones, a vigilante group that effectively controls Hiroshima. She is a descendant of the Ishitsuka family, a branch of Nayotake, but she rejects the old-fashioned code of honor and ravages the Seto Inland Sea as a female pirate, while also controlling the Okonomimura villages that stretch across Hiroshima. She is after the "National Vigilante License" that Nayotake holds.
- Takamasa Otomo - He is the vice-commander of the Ishizaka Stones, and assists Shima Ishizaka. He is said to be a descendant of the Otomo family, a branch of the Nayotake clan, but no one knows his true identity. He doesn't show his emotions much, he doesn't say much, and sometimes he looks up at the moon for some reason.
- Fujiwara Momo - The only daughter of the female swordsman Fujiwara Haru. She hates the Okayama Demons, a vigilante group that imposes heavy taxes on the people of Okayama, and secretly joins the Mimasaka Peach peach farming vigilante group to fight them. Her pets are a chihuahua named Chi-kun, an ostrich named Da-chan, and a sloth named Na-san.
- Fujiwara Haru - A legendary swordsman from Okayama, she is also the mother of Fujiwara Momo. After a battle in which she submerged the entire Tottori prefecture under sand, she put down her sword and now runs a peach farm and makes a living by selling her own sculptures and paintings. She hates dogs, and is not fond of the Chihuahua her daughter Momo keeps.
- Kuki Ura - Leader of Okayama's national vigilante group, the Okayama Demons. Mosa was loved by the people, but at a certain point, he began to use his power, which exceeded that of the country's lord, to impose heavy taxes on the people of Okayama, and before long he was known as a "demon." It seems that he used to compete against Fujiwara Haru in arms.
- Kurumamochi Fuhito - Owner of the okonomiyaki restaurant "Nayotake Bamboo". He is the sole survivor of the Kurumamochi family, a branch of the Nayotake family, and is Kaguya's foster father. He is now a friendly old man, but in his youth he was a militant yakuza known as "Shura no Kurumamochi".
