Marvel's new drama "Heart of Steel" officially announces the arrival of a female black Iron Man

Today (April 28), according to foreign media IGN, Marvel Studios has confirmed that it will create a new series "Heart of Steel" and announced that Chinaka Hodge will serve as the chief screenwriter. Chinaka Hodge is a poet and playwright who has participated in the creation of the drama version of "Snowpiercer" and "Amazing Stories". She has rich creative experience and will bring wonderful stories to the audience.

"Heart of Steel" is adapted from the comic book of the same name. It is expected to shoot 6 episodes and will start shooting next month. The play tells the story of a 15-year-old genius girl Lily Williams, who is studying at MIT and dreams of becoming a superhero. She has excellent inventive ability and uses the reverse engineering technology derived from the Iron Man armor to create her own equipment. After Iron Man Tony Stark retires, she succeeds him and becomes the second generation of Iron Man.

Lily Williams will be played by Hollywood newcomer Dominique Thorne (If Beale Street Could Talk, Judas and the Black Messiah). She is a black actress who revealed that she had never auditioned. One day she suddenly received a call asking her if she was willing to act. Thorne cheered after hanging up the phone, saying that she couldn't believe it was so simple.
