Riot is looking to make a live-action movie of League of Legends and is recruiting directors/producers

After the great success of the League of Legends game, Riot began to think about how to make this IP continue to shine and develop into more fields. Recently, according to foreign media IGN, Riot plans to prepare a live-action film and television series based on the world view of League of Legends and is currently recruiting relevant professional staff.

New recruitment information has appeared on Riot's recruitment website, showing that they are recruiting "Global Live-Action Film Director" and "Global Live-Action TV Director". The responsibility of the "Global Live-Action Film Director" is to lead Riot's film development team to prepare for the creation and filming of the "League of Legends" movie and new IP. Riot has very high requirements for this position. Applicants not only need rich professional skills, but also have deep interpersonal relationships in the industry and be familiar with top artists such as screenwriters, directors, producers, and actors.

In addition, Riot is actively recruiting professionals with at least 8 years of experience in the entertainment industry, with preference given to those with experience in science fiction and fantasy. Riot said it is "forming a film production and operations team that shares the worldview of League of Legends, bringing Riot games and new IP/animation/series content to players around the world in a whole new way."

As a world-renowned game IP, League of Legends has no live-action movie or TV series adapted yet. But now Riot plans to make live-action movies, TV series, and animations of League of Legends. Obviously, Riot is serious about building the League of Legends IP in all aspects. If successful, it is expected to become the next Marvel Universe.

This also means that Riot has taken another step forward in its expansion into the entertainment field. Previously, Riot has invested a lot in the music field, cooperating with K-pop girl groups, and now it has begun planning for film and television. I hope that Riot can bring more surprises to players in the future!
