According to IGN, Legendary Pictures and "King Kong: Skull Island" director Jordan Vogt-Roberts are working together to shoot a live-action Gundam movie, which will be exclusively broadcast on Netflix in the future. Details about the film are limited at this point, but Brian K. Vaughan, the screenwriter for Runaways and Lost, will write the script and serve as executive producer. Netflix will be responsible for the global online broadcast of the film, Legendary Pictures will be responsible for the distribution in China. The release date of the film has not yet been announced. Cale Boyter will be responsible for the supervision of the film on behalf of Legendary Pictures and Sunrise Studios. Jason Young, the director of Netflix original films, will also be in charge of the project. Netflix has not revealed anything about the plot, and the timeline of this live-action Gundam movie is currently unclear. More information about the film will be released in the next few months. |
