"Knives Out" will have two sequels, Netflix invested more than $400 million

According to Deadline, Netflix is ​​working with Rian Johnson, director of "Star Wars 8: The Last Jedi", to turn the latter's "Knives Out" into a series with two or more sequels.

In the sequel, Daniel Craig will return to play detective Benoit Blanc. An anonymous source revealed that Netflix spent at least $400 million on this, and the actual amount may be more.

Although Netflix intends to make "Knives Out" into a trilogy, only one sequel has been confirmed so far.

Knives Out is a 2019 American black comedy suspense film starring Captain America Chris Evans, 007 Daniel Craig, Jamie Lee Curtis and other stars. The film cost $40 million to invest, but the global box office exceeded $300 million. In 2019, it was named one of the top ten films of the year by the American Film Institute.
