The Resident Evil reboot will be released in North America on November 24

According to foreign media Deadline, the reboot of the "Resident Evil" series, "Resident Evil: Welcome to Raccoon City," announced a release date change from September 3 to November 24 in North America.

The story of "Resident Evil: Welcome to Raccoon City" takes place on a fateful night in Raccoon City in 1998. It has nothing to do with the previous "Resident Evil" movie. It is adapted from the two games "Resident Evil 1/2" and is more faithful to the game and the origin story. This new adaptation will start a new series and is directed by horror film director Johannes Roberts himself.

The film stars Kaya Scodelario as Claire, Robbie Amell as Chris, Hannah John-Kamen as Jill, Tom Hooper as Wesker, Avan Jogia as Leon, and Neal McDonough as William Birkin.
