Today, March 22, Toei announced the latest box office figures for the animated film "Neon Genesis Evangelion: 3.0 You Can (Not) End". It has been exactly two weeks since its release on March 8, and the current total box office is 4.9379968 million yen, which is just around the corner from the series' highest box office record of 5.3 billion yen.

· "Neon Genesis Evangelion: 3.0+1.0 You Are (Not) Alone" is directed by Hideaki Anno and produced by Khara Studio. It is the fourth part of the Evangelion Tetralogy, which is a reconstruction of "Neon Genesis Evangelion". The story takes place in the red, deserted Paris, where WILLE, centered on Wunder, sends a crew led by Ritsuko to try to restore the city.

·In the two weeks since the release of "Neon Genesis Evangelion: 3.0 You Can (Not) End", a total of 3,222,873 people flocked to the cinema to watch the movie, with a total box office of 4,937,996,800 yen. The current highest box office record for Evangelion series animated films is 5.3 billion yen for "Neon Genesis Evangelion: Q". At this growth rate, it is just around the corner to reach the highest box office record of the series.
