"Godzilla vs. Kong" uses a lot of monster perspectives to avoid showing too much humans

Recently, Adam Wingard, director of "Godzilla vs. Kong", revealed in an interview with foreign media Collider: The film will make extensive use of monster perspectives, avoiding the human perspective alone.

Director Adam Wingard said that a large part of the film is seen from King Kong's perspective, without cutting to the human characters. "He's like a human middleman...we can experience things through him."

Wingard said that one of his key points in making the film was to treat Godzilla and King Kong as real characters, not just "huge props in the background, or just big monsters", but as they have their own personalities and have clear boundaries of "what they will do and what they will not do".

He believes that King Kong can arouse emotional resonance, and what it sees and feels can make the audience empathize, "so this allows us to treat it like any other character, and humans have always supported this", such as the little girl who can communicate directly with King Kong and has a spiritual connection with King Kong. "A child who can communicate with powerful things" is also an image of this type of movie.

"Godzilla vs. Kong" will be released in North America on March 31. It will also be available on the HBO max streaming platform at the same time as its theatrical release. The domestic release date has been confirmed, and the introduction date is to be determined.
