Jurassic World 3 will wrap up the Jurassic film series

Director Colin Trevorrow revealed that the upcoming "Jurassic World 3: Dominion" is not only the end of the "Jurassic World" trilogy, but also the conclusion of the entire "Jurassic" film series.

In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Trevorrow discussed how Jurassic World: Dominion will fit into the larger story of the franchise that began with 1993's Jurassic Park, and Trevorrow described the next film, Jurassic World: Dominion, as a "celebration of the entire franchise" as it will bring the entire series of films together and bring it to a close.

“For me, Dominion is going to be the culmination of that story,” Trevorrow explains. “When you get to the end of the Jurassic Park trilogy, it’s not quite clear what the full story of the three movies is because they’re more episodic in the way they’re handled. But it’s really a serialized story.”

“The most important thing to me is that when you watch Dominion, you really feel like you’re reliving the story of the previous films and how everything that happened in those films affected this final film. If your kids want to watch the Jurassic series, you want them to feel like they’re watching a long novel.”

It is reported that "Jurassic World 3: Dominion" is scheduled to be released on June 10, 2022.
