The second season of the manga-adapted animation "Toilet-Bound Hanako-kun" has been released and will be broadcast in January 2025

The fantasy school suspense manga "Toilet-Bound Hanako-kun", created by Japanese cartoonist Aidalro (あいだいろ), initially launched three short stories between June and August 2014. After receiving positive reviews, it was officially serialized in the "Monthly GFanstasy" in December 2014.

The anime adaptation of the same name was produced by Lerche, and the 12 episodes of the first season were broadcast from January 2020. Recently, the official announced a special trailer for the second season of "Toilet-Bound Hanako-kun", and also announced that the second season will start broadcasting in January 2025.

The original story of "Toilet-Bound Hanako-kun" tells the story of seven incredible rumors circulating in Kaiou Academy. There is a ghost named "Hanako" in the third cubicle of the girls' bathroom on the third floor of the old school building. It is said that "Hanako" can fulfill any wish of the visitor. In order to realize her wish, Yashiro Nene puts all her hopes on this school's ghost story, thus unfolding a heartwarming toilet comedy.
