Death on the Nile: Gadot and Sledgehammer stills revealed

"Death on the Nile", adapted from the novel of the same name by "Grandma" Agatha Christie, released several new stills today. The story tells about three murders that occurred on a yacht on the Nile River, and the investigation of the incident by Belgian detective Hercule Poirot (played by Kenneth Branagh, who is also the director of this film). In the end, Poirot gathered the tourists and revealed the truth of the three cases.

In the stills, Gal Gadot plays the rich girl Linnet Ridgeway, her fiancé Simon Doyle (played by Armie Hammer) who she "steals" from her best friend (played by Emma Macken), and detective Poirot. The 1978 version of Death on the Nile was introduced to mainland China, and the new version will be released in North America on October 23 this year.

Other actors joining the cast include Letitia Wright (Cheetah Girl), Annette Bening, Ali Fazal, Sophie Okonedo, Tom Bateman, Emma Macken, Don French, Rose Leslie ("Fire Kiss" in "Game of Thrones"), Jennifer Saunders and Russell Brand. The film will be shot on 65mm film.
