According to foreign media reports today (June 10), the Hollywood Film and Television Industry Association issued a 22-page guidance document for film production during the epidemic, pointing out that if there are plots in film and television works during the epidemic that require "intimate behavior", it is best to delete them or modify them through CGI.

It is understood that CGI is the abbreviation of "Computer-generated imagery", which is what we often call special effects. This is not a new thing in the film and television industry, but after all, it requires a lot of production costs, so special effects are often used in special scenes in the past, such as when actors have to play creatures other than humans.

In addition, the association also proposed other preventive measures: including requiring staff to wear masks and other epidemic prevention protective gear, preventing spectators from watching on site, and training all staff on epidemic prevention measures.

The guidance document also recommends that crews should audition behind glass and deploy professional protective personnel to supervise the implementation of on-site epidemic prevention measures.

It is worth mentioning that before this, Thailand also announced that in order to prevent the spread of the new coronavirus, Thailand prohibits the filming of any scenes involving close contact such as fighting, kissing, close touching, etc.
