Joel Rogozin, a producer who has been nominated for many Emmy Awards, died of COVID-19 at the age of 87. Joel Rogozin was the screenwriter and producer of the American TV series "Knight Rider", "Private Eye Magnon", "Sergeant Lake", "Invincible Iron Detective" and "The Virginian".

It is worth mentioning that the science fiction series Knight Rider, produced by Joel Rogozin, was one of the first American TV series introduced to China. The series tells the story of the protagonist Michael Knight driving KITT, a sports car with a high degree of artificial intelligence, to support the innocent and helpless in a world where criminals are above the law. It premiered on NBC from 1982 to 1986, with a total of 4 seasons.
