New character stills of the Netflix exclusive animation "Japan Sinks" directed by Masaaki Yuasa will be launched in 2020

Do you remember the original new animation of the classic masterpiece "Japan Sinks" revealed by Netflix last year, called "Japan Sinks 2020", which will be directed by the famous director Masaaki Yuasa and is scheduled to be broadcast in 2020. On March 25, the official released new stills and character voice actors, let's take a sneak peek!

"Japan Sinks" is a classic science fiction novel published by Sakyo Komatsu in 1973. It has been adapted into movies and animations many times. The new animation "Japan Sinks 2020" will be set in Tokyo just after the 2020 Olympics, telling the adventure story of an ordinary family of four in Tokyo during the crisis of the sinking Japanese archipelago.

"Japan Sinks 2020" will be directed by director Masaaki Yuasa, with a total of 10 episodes scheduled to be broadcast exclusively on Netflix in 2020, so stay tuned.
