Director Christophe Gans has brought two pieces of good news to horror game fans. In an interview with French media Allocine, the director of the 2006 version of "Silent Hill" revealed that he will start filming an adaptation of the classic horror game "Zero" series, and a new "Silent Hill" movie is also in preparation. Gans said: "Victor Hadida and I are working on two new horror films. First, we are adapting the game series "Zero". I don't want to pull the background of this story out of the context of a Japanese haunted house, so the movie story will also take place in Japan. At the same time, we are preparing a new "Silent Hill", and this project will continue to focus on the American town occupied by the Puritans." In addition to Silent Hill in 2006, Gans also directed Beauty and the Beast in 2014 and Wolf Contract in 2001. As early as 2014, there were rumors that the Zero series would be adapted into a movie, but there has been no news until today. There are also rumors that Konami is working on reviving the Silent Hill series, and this new movie may be part of the plan. |
