"Frozen 2" tops the domestic box office for the week and may break $1 billion globally

According to Maoyan data, Frozen 2 grossed 263 million yuan in its second week in mainland China, winning the weekly championship. The film has now grossed 640 million yuan in mainland China, 287.6 million U.S. dollars in the United States, and 739 million U.S. dollars worldwide, and is expected to break 1 billion U.S. dollars.

The performance of new films released in the mainland last week: "Two Tigers" starring Ge You, Qiao Shan, Zhao Wei and others earned 138 million and ranked second in the weekly list. The well-received suspense film "Knives Out" earned 95.99 million and ranked third in the weekly list, with good box office performance. The song-adapted movie "My Life With You" earned 35.79 million and ranked fourth in the weekly list. "Sherlock on the Plains" only earned 5.15 million and did not enter the top ten of the weekly list.
