"Joker" lived up to expectations and broke the R-rated film box office record. Deadpool sent a funny congratulations

According to data obtained by authoritative media such as Forbes and Hollywood Reporter, DC's "Joker" lived up to expectations and surpassed "Deadpool 1" and "Deadpool 2" this week to become the highest-grossing R-rated film in history.

As of Friday, the film has grossed $788.3 million worldwide, surpassing both Deadpool 1 ($782.5 million) and Deadpool 2 ($785.05 million). And since they were made in the same period, there is no need to consider inflation, so the title is well deserved.

To celebrate "Joker" breaking the global box office record for R-rated films, Deadpool himself Ryan Reynolds also tweeted, expressing his affirmation of Joaquin's masterpiece in a very R-rated way.

Deadpool wrote in the tweet: "Congratulations to the R-rated movies, the box office posters will never be what you usually see..." In the accompanying picture, he extended his claws to the iconic "dancing on the stairs" poster of "Joker". The characters in the R-rated movie rankings were written on the steps, and then "You Motherf*cker" was written on the top of the Joker.

The names on the steps include Deadpool from Deadpool, Neil from The Matrix: Reloaded, Pennywise from IT, Jesus from The Passion of the Christ, Hugh Jackman from Logan, The Wolfpack from The Hangover 2, Mr. Grey from Fifty Shades of Grey, and Ted from Ted.
