We often see that e-commerce companies set prices incorrectly, and this often attracts many bargain hunters. But not every bargain is suitable for everyone. Recently, the 007 movie collection on the Microsoft Store was a bargain. The collection contains digital versions of all 25 007 movies, all the way to 2021's "No Time to Die", all in HD format, and usually costs $255.75, which is a little more than $10 per movie. However, in the early hours of Tuesday morning, some people noticed that the collection was on sale for an ultra-low price of $4.99. Once people started noticing, the price was immediately changed. But instead of returning to the original $255 price, it was changed to a new, more believable discounted price. This proves that the $4.99 price change was purely accidental and that someone had probably set the promotional price incorrectly. It's not clear if anyone has actually managed to snag this deal for $5. It could be a nice bonus for anyone who wants to collect 007 movies. The 25-movie collection is currently on sale at Microsoft Store for far less than the original price, with a discount of nearly 50%, bringing the price down to $129.99, and the offer will last for the next six days. This certainly isn't the first time a major retailer has listed an expensive item at the wrong price, and it certainly won't be the last. Amazon previously had their Mario-exclusive Nintendo Switch OLED console on sale for a penny. Even if you're lucky enough to see this unexpected discount on a store page, there's no guarantee the store will honor it. Some stores will be very generous and ship it, while others will cancel your order. |
