The first "Hunger Games" and "Twilight" theme parks in mainland China will open at the end of this month

Asia's first full-sensory movie-themed interactive experience venue announced that it will open in Zhuhai on July 31, with a battlefield of 22,000 square meters and 25 attractions. The themes are from six Lionsgate movies: "Twilight", "The Hunger Games", "Divergent", "Now You See Me", "Gods of Egypt" and "Escape Plan". "Six Hollywood blockbusters from Lionsgate Films create a full-scale immersive entertainment experience.

The following are three of the themed venues:

"The Twilight Saga: Midnight Pursuit" is the world's first multiplayer interactive VR simulator experience. Guests will interact with their friends and family in the virtual world and follow the werewolf protagonist through the exciting VR mud motorcycle adventure and travel through the forest.

Gods of War: Eye of Thrones - Eternal War is the world's first indoor roller coaster experience designed based on virtual reality (VR) technology. Guests will return to the stories of ancient Egyptian mythology, fly over pyramids and sand dunes, and complete a thrilling adventure with the ancient Egyptian god of war. The speed of the roller coaster on the track, every turn, climb and dive, are perfectly matched with the visual effects in VR, so that all the guests' sensory experiences are synchronized, and they can experience the fantasy battle of the Egyptian gods.

"The Hunger Games: Fast and Furious" is an advanced multimedia dynamic simulator cabin experience and the first attraction in Asia that can simulate multiple different driving experiences in the same experience.

The venue also announced ticket prices. The standard one-day ticket is RMB 250 and RMB 280 in the off-season and peak season respectively; guests between 1 meter and 1.4 meters in height can enjoy special prices, which are RMB 175 in the off-season and RMB 195 in the peak season. With just one ticket, guests can experience a variety of rides and entertainment experiences in the venue and realize their dream of becoming the protagonist of a movie.

After its official opening on July 31, Lionsgate Entertainment World is set to become a new benchmark for live entertainment experience projects in the region. Movie fans in the south may wish to give it a try.
