Sports anime is one of the most famous genres in the island nation’s animation family. Among them, the rare swimming masterpiece “Free! -Dive to the Future-” will be released in a new theatrical version on July 5. Today, the official trailer was released. Let’s take a sneak peek.

· "Free! -Dive to the Future-" is the third season of the TV animation "Free!", which is based on the light novel "High☆Speed!" written by Ohji Koji. The story tells that after graduating from high school, Haruka and others, who are tied to each other because of swimming, go in different directions. In Tokyo, Haruka meets Shiina Asahi, who once swam a relay with her.

·Haruka's memories of middle school days are awakened, and the figure of Yumi "back then" awakens in her heart. The exciting stories about friendship and youth that Haruka and her friends weave in the water blend with each other in "Free! -Dive to the Future-"!

The new theatrical version of "Free! -Dive to the Future-" is also jointly produced by Kyoto Animation and Animation Do. The pictures are as beautiful as ever, and first-line voice actors such as Shimazaki Nobunaga and Miyano Mamoru will join, so stay tuned.
