The animated series adapted from the social game "Among Us" recently announced more of its cast. Many new actors come from familiar works, including Debra Wilson from "Star Wars Jedi: Survivor", Patton Oswalt from "Ratatouille", Phil LaMarr from "Futurama" and Wayne Knight from "Seinfeld". Other actors include Dan Stevens (The Refugees), Liv Hewson (The Wasp), Kimiko Glenn (Spider-Man: Within the Spider-Verse), Randall Park (I May Still Love You), Yvette Nicole Brown (Community College), Elijah Wood (The Lord of the Rings trilogy), and Ashley Johnson (the voice actor of The Last of Us). According to the Among Us social media account, the show's cast has been finalized following the addition of new members, so this may be the last batch of casting announcements. CBS Studios is producing the anime, but has yet to sign on with any network or streaming company. The story will roughly follow the game's story, with the crew of a spaceship working together to find the imposter hiding among us. Among Us is no longer as popular as before, and has fallen out of the top 100 in Steam sales and play time. In addition to PC, the game is also available on Xbox, PS, Switch, iOS and Android platforms. |
