The secret of plagiarism of famous Japanese animations in Korean animation history

Today (May 6), a Japanese animation information media published an article titled "The Dark Ages of Continuous Plagiarism of Korean Robot Animation", revealing the dark history of Korean animation. Let's open our eyes together.

·1976's "Iron Man 007".

I guess not many of you have seen it. This classic Korean animation can be said to have pioneered the plagiarism of Japanese robot animations, and opened the prelude to many subsequent plagiarized animations. "Iron Man 007" not only plagiarized the settings of one Japanese animation, the protagonist plagiarized "Science Ninja Team", the robot driven by the protagonist plagiarized "Sky Dragon", and the base of the protagonists plagiarized "Wonderful Flying Man" in Japan. Even the music is no exception, plagiarizing the works of the British rock band Pink Floyd. It is simply an epic hodgepodge.

·1978's "Run! Mazinger ZX"

The name sounds familiar. That’s right, this animation plagiarized many parts of Japan’s most classic robot animation “Mazinger Z”, even the name was used.

"King of Robots" in 1980.

The protagonist of this film completely plagiarized the image of GR2 from the famous Japanese special drama "Iron Man", but fortunately the plot of this film is still quite concise.

·1983's "Super Express Mazinger 7".

Here comes Mazinger Z again. It seems that Koreans also like Koji Kabuto. The image of the protagonist in this movie is very similar to Mazinger Z.

1983's "Super Titan 15"

The setting of up to 15 mechas combined is completely copied from Japan's "Mecha Fleet Daleka XV".

·1984's "Space Gundam V".

You read it right, the name of Gundam was directly moved here, and the protagonist is from "Macross", it's really quite lively.

Although Korean animation in the 1980s was greatly influenced by Japan, it is unimaginable to use it so openly now. Today, the influence of Korean idol dramas on the world far exceeds that of animation, which is probably related to the lack of ambition back then.
