Daniel Craig's final James Bond film to be released in 2020

"Bond 25" has officially started shooting in Norway this week. This will be the fifth and final 007 film starring Daniel Craig. Although the film will not be released until April 2020, who will replace Craig as the new Bond has always been a hot topic among fans.

Recently, foreign media reported that Outlander actor Sam Heughan auditioned for the role. The source said: "Sam is an experienced actor, he has a great body shape and a rebellious side, which is very attractive." Of course, Sam Heughan is just one of many candidates who may become the new 007. Before the release of Bond 25, there must be more candidates. And when Daniel Craig was announced as the new 007, it had been three years since the last 007 movie starring Pierce Brosnan was released, so this may be a long wait.

Interestingly, 38-year-old Sam was once asked in a show if he was willing to play 007. At that time, Sam's answer was: "Yes, I thought about it several times. I auditioned a long time ago, when Daniel Craig was selected to play "Bond 21." It is worth mentioning that "Superman" Henry Cavill also auditioned for "007: Casino Royale", but at the age of 22, he was considered too young.
