The 39th "Doraemon" movie will be released to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the moon landing

The movie "Doraemon: Chronicle of the Moon Exploration" (tentative translation) will be released in Japan on March 1. This film is the 39th theatrical version after "Doraemon: Nobita's Treasure Island". Those familiar friends will go to the moon for a new adventure under the guidance of Doraemon. The story of the movie "Doraemon: Chronicle of the Moon Exploration" (tentative translation) is based on the "Heretical Club Badge". It tells the story of a lunar probe capturing a white shadow on the moon. Nobita thought it was a rabbit on the moon, which caused everyone to laugh at him.

As a result, Doraemon used the secret prop "Heretical Club Badge" to build a Moon Rabbit Kingdom on the back of the moon. One day, a mysterious boy named Luca Tsukino transferred to the school and went to the Moon Rabbit Kingdom with Nobita and his friends for an extraordinary adventure.

2019 marks the 50th anniversary of the first moon landing and the 40th anniversary of the broadcast of the Doraemon animation on Japan's TV Asahi. This makes Doraemon: Chronicles of the Moon Exploration (tentative translation) even more extraordinary. The director of this film, Yasugawa Shinnosuke, has directed two Doraemon theatrical films, including Doraemon: New Nobita: The Birth of Japan, which was a hit in China in 2016, and took over the directorship of the Doraemon TV animation in 2017. In terms of dubbing, in addition to the original team with high recognition from the audience, such as Wasabi Mizuta, Emi Taihara, and Yumi Kakazu, the guest dubbing lineup this time is also very strong, bringing together stars such as Alice Hirose, Yuya Yagira, Soichi Nakaoka, Shigeo Takahashi, and Gotaro Yoshida, which is worth looking forward to.
