American Gods Season 2 premieres on March 10, 2019

Today, StarZ's fantasy suspense drama "American Gods" will usher in its second season on March 10, 2019, with the same 8 episodes as the first season. We look forward to the "Gods" returning again.

"American Gods", adapted from Neil Gaiman's novel of the same name, has caused a viewing frenzy in the United States. The StarZ premiere scored a 0.4 rating on the day, attracting a total of 975,000 viewers. The IMDb rating was 8.1, the Rotten Tomatoes rating was as high as 92%, and the Douban rating was 7.8.

The first season of American Gods mainly tells the story of a brewing war between the new gods and the old gods: the traditional gods in mythology have gradually lost their believers and turned to believe in some newly emerging new gods, which reflect the current society's greed for money, technology, modern media, celebrities and drugs. The play mainly describes Mr. Wednesday (played by Ian McShane), a cunning and charming liar, full of evil wisdom, curious magic and grand ambitions. He hired Shadow Moon (played by Ricky Whiteto), who had a history of fraud, as a personal bodyguard to accompany him to travel around the United States, and used his personal charm to recruit troops everywhere to prepare for the final war between the new and old gods.
