DC's "The Flash" independent film has confirmed the start of filming. According to Discussing Film, DC plans to start shooting in Atlanta on February 5 next year. The development of the movie version of "The Flash" has been full of twists and turns. After several changes of directors and script rewrites, it was finally locked in by John Francis Daley and Jonathan M. Goldstein, the directors of "Game Night". With Zack Snyder's complete withdrawal from the DC film map, the "Flashpoint" storyline previously conceived by the "Flash" movie has also been overturned. It is reported that the version to be filmed is a brighter "Back to the Future" style movie, no longer the dark theme originally planned. The independent film "The Flash" is scheduled to be released in North America in 2020. The actors currently confirmed to star in the film include "The Flash" Ezra Miller and his childhood sweetheart "Alice" Kiersey Clemons. 2018 was a quiet year for DC movies, with only Aquaman released at the end of the year. With the filming of The Flash on the agenda, DC's new film production plan for 2019 is already full. According to foreign media reports, Birds of Prey, led by Harley Quinn, and the new Batman standalone film directed by Matt Reeves will also start filming early next year. Black Adam and Suicide Squad 2, starring Dwayne Johnson, are also expected to start filming in 2019. |
