Steven Yeun withdraws from Marvel's new film "Thunderbolt" due to scheduling conflicts

According to Deadline, The Walking Dead actor Steven Yeun has withdrawn from Marvel's new film Thunderbolts due to scheduling conflicts. The film was delayed due to the strike by the actors and writers' unions in Hollywood, which caused scheduling problems.

Steven Yeun was first revealed to be involved in the project last year, and other confirmed cast members include Florence Pugh (Black Widow), David Harbour (Stranger Things), Sebastian Stan (Winter Soldier) and Wyatt Russell (The Falcon and the Winter Soldier).

Thunderbolt was first announced at the D23 film conference in 2022, but Marvel announced a month after the strike began that the project would be postponed to 2024, causing Steven Yeun's schedule to conflict with the project. It is rumored that he was originally going to play the role of Sentinel.

The film is currently scheduled to be released in theaters in July 2025.
