"Teasing Master Takagi-san" will be made into a live-action movie with a focus on original content

The campus comedy "Teasing Master Takagi-san" created by Soichirō Yamamoto was completed and the spin-off "Teasing Master (?) Nishikata-san" was announced. Recently, the news of a live-action movie of the same name was suddenly announced.

According to the official Twitter account, the film version will focus on original content, telling the original story of Takagi, who became a trainee teacher 10 years later, returning to his alma mater and meeting Nishiki, who has become a physical education teacher.

The live-action movie version of "Teasing Master Takagi-san" will be filmed in Shodoshima, Kagawa Prefecture. It will be directed by Takashi Imaizumi, the director of "A Little Night Music", and Mei Nagano and Fumiya Takahashi will play the male and female protagonists 10 years later respectively.

The live-action film is currently scheduled to be released in Japan on May 31, 2024.
