Uncharted Live-Action Movie May Get a Sequel

Uncharted Live-Action Movie May Get a Sequel

Uncharted producer Charles Roven says he is considering making a sequel.

"Fans of the game really loved the movie, and people who didn't even know about the game loved it," Rowan said. "So there was no doubt we wanted to do another one."

The Uncharted movie will be released in 2022. Although it has received poor reviews from the media, its global box office has exceeded $400 million. It can be said that the adaptation was very successful, so a sequel is still very likely.

The live-action Uncharted movie focuses on adventurer Nathan Drake, played by Tom Holland, and Mark Wahlberg as his right-hand man Victor Sullivan. Compared to the characters in the first Uncharted game, the two in the movie are much younger, because the movie is a prequel to the video game series. We will have to wait and see whether the sequel will adapt the first game in the series.
