Yokohama 1:1 movable Gundam learns rock-paper-scissors game to be held in May

The 1:1 scale movable RX-78-2 Gundam at Gundam Factory Yokohama, Japan, has learned a new skill. It is now able to perform all the moves required to play rock-paper-scissors. To demonstrate its "power", Gundam Factory Yokohama plans to hold a rock-paper-scissors contest on May 5.

The Gundam will battle everyone in the crowd. As a special prize, the last person standing will be able to enter an area usually closed to the public for a photo opportunity.

In addition, the factory plans to hold the Minovsky Gundam flight show again from April 29 to May 7, which is inspired by "Mobile Suit Gundam: Hathaway's Flash". At the same time, a food truck inspired by "Mobile Suit Gundam: Witch of Mercury" will sell themed drinks such as Miorinne Tomato Soda to visitors.

The 18-meter-high, 1:1 movable Gundam first went on display in December 2020 and will remain open to the public until March 31, 2024.
