The new film "Hellboy" is scheduled to start filming in April

Today (February 21), DiscussingFilm exclusively reported that the new live-action Hellboy movie has been in preparation for a long time, and the crew is preparing to start filming in Bulgaria in April 2023. The cast has not yet been fully confirmed, but Ron Perlman or David Harbour are unlikely to return to the role of Hellboy because this will be another reboot.

The film's working title is Hellboy: The Crooked Man, and it's unclear if it's based on the 1958 comic book series of the same name. The film will be directed by Brian Taylor, who previously co-directed Adrenaline with Mark Neveldine and Ghost Rider 2 with Nicolas Cage.
