'The Last of Us' Fans Believe Abby Will Appear in Season 2

Some The Last of Us fans believe HBO has confirmed that the character of Abby Anderson will appear in season 2.

After the live-action series The Last of Us premiered on HBO last week, fan account The Last of Us News discovered that director, co-writer and executive producer Neil followed actress Shannon Berry's Instagram account.

The Last of Us News released several comparison pictures of Berry and Abby, and considering the similarities between the two (in fact, Berry is now 22 years old, which is about the age of Abby in the game) and the fact that Neil followed the actor, fans believed that HBO had already chosen the role for the second season.

Fans also noticed that Berry's Instagram account also followed Neil as well as The Last of Us series stars Pedro Pascal, Bella Ramsey and the official account of The Last of Us.

Of course, this does not necessarily mean that the character of Abby will appear in the second season. After all, HBO, Neil and producer Craig Mazin have not yet confirmed that the second season is in production.

Abby Anderson first appeared in The Last of Us 2. Considering that the first season covered the entire game of The Last of Us 1, it is natural for characters from the second generation to appear in the second season.
