Sony's Spider-Man universe continues to expand. According to foreign media The Direct, "Venom 3" may start filming later this year.

As early as April 2022, Venom 3 officially received the green light from Sony and was called the last film in the series. According to industry insider Daniel Richtman, Venom 3 will start filming in a few months, from June to September, in the UK.

"Venom" started filming at the end of October 2017 and was released on October 5, 2018. "Venom 2" started filming on November 15, 2019 and was originally scheduled to be released on October 2, 2020. However, due to lengthy reshoots and the epidemic, it was postponed to October 1, 2021.

If Venom 3 continues to have a one-year gap between filming and its official release, then Venom 3 may be released in the summer of 2024.
