"Chinese Table Tennis: The Jedi Counterattack" is officially scheduled to be released on the first day of the Chinese New Year

Sina Film reported today (January 6) that the movie "Chinese Table Tennis: The Jedi Counterattack" also released a release poster, with the coach played by Deng Chao and the five tigers of the national table tennis team played by Xu Weizhou, Duan Bowen, Cai Yida, Ding Guansen, and Sun Xilun welcoming victory.

The film is directed by Deng Chao and Yu Baimei and is adapted from a true story. It tells the story of China's table tennis from the bottom to the Jedi counterattack in the early 1990s. It will be released on the first day of the Lunar New Year in 2023.
