YouYaoQi Comics has officially shut down and has been merged into Bilibili

According to Fast Technology today (December 31), YouYaoQi Comics has officially shut down and permanently stopped services, and related comic services have been merged into Bilibili. Currently, the only thing left on the YouYaoQi official website is a closure notice and comic recommendations pointing to Bilibili.

YouYaoQi announced its closure on September 1, 2022, and then closed recharge on October 31 and the client on November 30. YouYaoQi was founded in 2009 and is affiliated to Aofei Entertainment. It is one of the earliest and currently largest online original comics platforms in China.

It has more than 32 million cumulative users, more than 70,000 original cartoonists, and more than 45,000 serialized original comic works, including top works and IPs such as "One Hundred Thousand Bad Jokes", "Zhenhun Street", "Chifeng", and "Duannao". In November 2021, Bilibili acquired Yaoqi for RMB 600 million.
