Kurt Russel and his son Wyatt Russel will join Apple and Legendary Pictures' upcoming live-action series Godzilla and the Titans. According to Deadline, Kurt and Wyatt have signed on to star in Apple's Monster Universe live-action series, in addition to the previously announced cast Anna Sawai, Ren Watabe, Kiersey Clemons, Joe Tippett and Elisa Lasowski. It is not yet known what roles the father and son will play in the show. Kurt Russel is a legendary actor who frequently collaborated with John Carpenter in the 1980s, starring in films such as Escape from New York, Escape from Los Angeles, The Thing, and The Devil Wears Prada. He has also been involved in several other notable projects during his long acting career, including playing Ego in the Marvel Cinematic Universe's Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, as well as What If… The Godzilla live-action series, part of Legendary Pictures' growing MonsterVerse, will explore the aftermath of a thunderous war between Godzilla and the Titans that razed San Francisco to the ground, and as the shocking new reality emerges that monsters are real, one family begins to uncover their buried secrets and a legacy that connects them to a secret organization known as Monarch. |
