Amazon Prime Video's "God of War" series has just found a new series producer after the original writing team left: Ronald D. Moore, the screenwriter of "Battlestar Galactica" and "Star Trek: Deep Space Nine". According to Deadline, Moore will serve as the screenwriter, executive producer and creator of the "God of War" series. Previously, the original screenwriter team Rafe Judkins, Hawk Ostby and Mark Fergus had completed multiple episodes of the first season. It is not clear how many stories will be used by Moore. Moore rose to fame as a writer on Star Trek: The Next Generation, then had a major role on Star Trek: Deep Space Nine. He later served as the creator of the 2000s reboot of Battlestar Galactica and helped create Apple TV's For All Mankind. Moore and Sony have signed a multi-year deal, with Sony Santa Monica creative director Cory Barlog remaining as executive producer. |
