Gerard Butler's new film Kandahar released its first stills

The first stills of the military thriller "Kandahar", starring "The Fallen Emperor" Gerard Butler and directed by Ric Roman Waugh, were released. This is the third collaboration between the two after "Angel Has Fallen" and "Escape Plan". It is also the first American film shot entirely in Saudi Arabia.

Kandahar tells the story of Tom Harris (Butler), a secret CIA agent working in the Middle East. A leak of intelligence puts his covert mission and identity at risk. Trapped in the heart of the enemy, Harris and his translator must flee the desert to an evacuation point in Kandahar while evading the pursuit of elite special forces.

In addition to this military thriller, Gerard Butler will also collaborate with director Waugh on the fourth Fallen film - "Night Falls", the specific start time of which has not yet been announced.
