DC movie "Batgirl" is being filmed in Scotland and will be directly launched on HBO Max

The DC movie Batgirl, which will be directly released on HBO Max, recently started filming in Glasgow, Scotland. Actress Leslie Grace, who plays Barbara Gordon, was photographed on the set (without makeup). Interestingly, a wall with a mural of Batman and Robin appeared on the set. It has been confirmed that Michael Keaton will join the film. Does this wall imply that Robin will also appear?

The film will be directed by Adil El Arbi and Bilal Fallah from "Bad Boys for Life", and the script will be written by Christina Hodson, the screenwriter of "Bumblebee". The specific release date has not yet been announced.

As a popular female hero in DC comics, Batgirl's real identity is Barbara Gordon, the daughter of Gotham Police Commissioner Gordon. This character has appeared many times in "Batman" film and television works, and has served as the heroine of the animation "The Lego Batman Movie", but she has never had her own independent movie.
