DC Comics' new version of Superman announces coming out as bisexual and dating a male reporter

According to IGN, DC Comics' new Superman Jon Kent has come out as bisexual. In the new DC main universe comic "Superman: Son of Kal-El" #5 to be published in November, Jon Kent, like his parents Clark Kent and Lois Lane, will play a Superman/reporter relationship. He will start dating a young male reporter Jay Nakamura. Jon does his best to save others, and Jay cares about him.

Jim Lee released a statement on the announcement: "We often talk about the power of the DC Multiverse in the stories we tell, and this is another great example of how we can have Jon Kent explore his identity in the comics while also having Jon Kent learn the secrets of his family on our television screens in Superman & Lois. They coexist in their own worlds and timelines, and our fans can enjoy both at the same time.
