The Korean War film "King Kong River" will be released in South Korea with a rating of 15+

The film "King Kong River", which is about the War to Resist U.S. Aggression and Aid Korea, will be released on IPTV in the form of VOD (video on demand) on September 16 after obtaining permission for screening in South Korea. It is rated for viewers aged 15 and above.

"King Kong River" was directed by Guan Hu, Guo Fan, and Lu Yang, starring Zhang Yi, Wu Jing, Li Jiuxiao, Wei Chen, and Deng Chao. It was released in China on October 23, 2020, and earned 1.126 billion yuan at the box office. This film was made to commemorate the 70th anniversary of the Chinese People's Volunteers' War to Resist U.S. Aggression and Aid Korea, telling the heroic deeds of the volunteer soldiers who fought tenaciously with their flesh and blood in the face of a huge disparity in strength between the enemy and us.
