This setting combines science fiction elements such as cyborgs and mechanical suits with the tension of a police drama, and has the power to draw viewers in.

The characters are also appealing, especially the protagonist Ken Kanzaki, who is an expert marksman but is confused by his new life as a cyborg, and is portrayed growing as he goes along. In addition, other unique characters such as racer Agri Ryo and masked wrestler Gouda Go also appear, and their backstories and relationships enrich the story.

Mecha design and action

One of the biggest attractions of this work is the mecha design and action scenes. The "Jack Suit" and "Jack Armor" created by mecha designer Yukihiro Makino are characterized by their sophisticated design and functionality, making them very visually appealing. The action scenes also feature many scenes in which Metal Jack fights armies of robots, making for some very powerful battle scenes. In particular, the scene in which Metal Jack transforms from the "Jack Suit" to the "Jack Armor" has a strong visual impact and is well worth watching.

Music and Production

Music is also an important element that enhances the appeal of this work. The music, composed by Iwasaki Fuminori, has the effect of livening up the tense battle scenes and moving scenes. The direction by director Matsuzono Kimi and chief director Egami Kiyoshi is also superb, skillfully portraying the development of the story and the emotions of the characters. In particular, the story, written by series composer Kawasaki Hiroyuki, is characterized by a detailed plot and unexpected developments, which will keep viewers hooked.
