■ Story

Kuroganeyaiba lived in the jungle with his father, Kenjuro, aiming to become a samurai. One day, he returned to Japan and stayed with his father, Kenjuro's rival, Mine Raizo, and his daughter, Sayaka. Yaiba, who ended up attending the same high school as Sayaka, meets his sworn enemy, Onimaru. Onimaru became fascinated with the "Fujin Sword" and became the incarnation of evil. In order to defeat Onimaru, Yaiba heads to Miyamoto Musashi, a mysterious old man who possesses the magical sword "Raijin Sword," which holds incredible power, and begins his rigorous training.
Yaiba defeats Onimaru's assassins, the "Yakki," who attack him one after another, aiming for the "Raijin Sword." With their deadly "Kaminari Slash" in hand, Yaiba and his men finally attack Onimaru Castle, defeating the Four Heavenly Kings and fighting one-on-one with Onimaru, but Yaiba loses the "Raijin Ball" during the battle. Meanwhile, Onimaru's Fuujin Sword breaks during the fight, and he is forced to flee without a decisive victory.
By chance, Yaiba finds a map of the legendary balls scattered all over Japan at Sayaka's house, and he sets out on an adventure with his companions in search of the "Dragon God's Ball," which is said to allow them to fly freely through the air!
