Main Characters

After discovering that Majorica is a witch, Doremi Harukaze becomes a witch frog and begins training to return her to her original form. She is curious, clumsy, meddlesome and easily scared, but her occasional acts of kindness touch people's hearts. When she advances to the fifth grade, she is placed in a different class from the other four Ojamajo girls, but she becomes friends with Momoko, an apprentice witch who returned from overseas, in the same class. After school, she makes sweets at MAHO-do.

Haruka is Doremi's mother. She wanted to be a professional pianist, but gave up after injuring her hand and became a full-time housewife. She watches over Doremi and her friends with kindness and sometimes strictness. Keisuke is Doremi's father. His hobby is fishing, so he works as a writer for a fishing magazine. Whenever he has free time, he goes fishing. Pop is Doremi's younger sister, who is a little precocious and cheeky, but she grew up watching Doremi's clumsy behavior, so she is very reliable despite being the younger sister. After witnessing Doremi and her friends' magic, she was appointed as an apprentice witch, and in the previous series, she was able to skip a grade thanks to Hana's crying. This year, she is in the first grade at Misora Elementary School with Doremi.

Senoo Aiko is Doremi's friend and also an apprentice witch. She grew up in Osaka, is good at sports, and is a lively girl with a big sister personality. After her parents divorced, she lives with her father, a taxi driver. She has a firm sense of reality, typical of Naniwa girls, and does all the housework by herself. In order to not give in to the harsh environment, she behaves cheerfully in front of others, but sometimes she has a dreamy side. She hopes that her divorced parents will get along again. Atsuko is Aiko's mother and works at an elderly care center. Senoo Koji is a taxi driver by profession, divorced from Aiko's mother, moved from Osaka, and currently lives with Aiko.

Hazuki Fujiwara is Doremi's friend since kindergarten, and is also an apprentice witch. She has excellent grades and is usually calm, but perhaps because she was raised as a rich girl, she also has a gentle and absent-minded side. Her unique sense may have been exacerbated by her association with Doremi and her friends. Because her parents were too caring, she is unable to express herself well. The wish she would like to make come true with magic is to be able to say "no" to her mother when she "no" to something. Hazuki's mother is an interior coordinator, and she buys a lot of clothes for Hazuki. Hazuki's father is a famous film director, and although he is strict at work, he is kind to his daughter Hazuki. The old woman is disciplined and well-mannered, and has never missed a day of cleaning the Fujiwara mansion, and is strangely powerful.

Due to her father's work as an architect and her mother's work as a photographer, Momoko Asuka went to America just before entering elementary school, where she met the elderly Major Monroe and became an apprentice witch. As a child who returned from overseas, she entered Misora Elementary School, and at Maho-do, she teaches her specialty, making sweets, with the other four Ojamajo. Onpu Segawa became an apprentice witch under Majorca, the rival witch of Majorica, and acted separately from Doremi and her friends, but they overcame a crisis together and became true friends. As a very popular entertainer, she is a hard worker who does not cut corners in anything, including school, work, and Maho-do. She is still an individualist, but perhaps influenced by Doremi and her friends, she sometimes shows a gentle side. Onpu's mother used to be in the same entertainment industry as Onpu, and was an idol called "Yumeno Kurara," but she quit her entertainment activities due to an accident on stage, and now she entrusts her dream to Onpu. Onpu's father is a driver for a sleeper express train, and he rarely comes home. Due to Onpu's busy schedule with her entertainment activities, the two of them don't get to see each other very often, but her father cares deeply for her.
