Hanaukyo Maid Squad La Verite - Relaxing and laughter days spent with charming maids

The TV anime series "Hanaukyou Maid Team La Verite", which aired in 2004, is based on the manga of the same name by Mori Shige. The original manga was serialized in Monthly Shonen Champion (published by Akita Shoten), and the manga is currently available in 8 volumes, each of which has sold over 100,000 copies. This anime was produced as a new series with 30-minute episodes, based on the hit 15-minute program that aired on UHF stations from April to July 2001.

story

The protagonist, Hanaukyo Taro, is an unremarkable third-year junior high school student, but after his mother's death he moves to Tokyo to rely on his grandfather. What Taro sees there is a huge mansion so large it seems impossible to see what's around him, and countless maids. Taro is the grandson of Hanaukyo Hokusai, who built the great Hanaukyo family in one generation, and after the death of his mother, Hokusai's daughter, he is suddenly handed over the family business, becoming the head of the wealthy Hanaukyo family while still a junior high school student. However, Hanaukyo Hokusai is not in the mansion, and Taro ends up living with the maids as the head of a great conglomerate that divides Japan in half.

The maids that Taro will be living with are the "Hanaukyou Maid Corps," a group of specialist maids with their own special skills, including the head maid Mariel, the security department's Tsurugi Konoe, the technical department's Suzuki Ikuyo, and the computer expert Grace. Taro will be at the mercy of these maids, whose only duty is to "serve their master, Taro!"

Main Characters

Hanaukyo Taro is the grandson of the previous head of the family, Hanaukyo Hokusai. When his mother, Hokusai's daughter, dies, he visits his grandfather and is suddenly handed over the family business, becoming head of the wealthy Hanaukyo family while still a junior high school student. He doesn't dislike living surrounded by cute maids, but he finds himself at their mercy every day. He doesn't excel academically or athletically, and doesn't seem to have any special talents, but the maids love him very much because he is a friendly, caring boy.

Mariel is the head maid who oversees the entire maid corps and manages Taro's schedule, and is the one who essentially manages the entire Hanaukyo household. She is a smart and intelligent woman, but can also be a bit airheaded at times. She is an attractive woman with a gentle smile that shows she is truly happy to serve Taro.

Cynthia Landravager is a quiet girl who rarely speaks. Although she is a bit introverted, she has a kind heart and is something of a mascot for the maid squad.

Ikuyo Suzuki is a mecha nerd in the technology department who invents things, but due to her clumsy personality, she often ends up failing her creations and causing trouble for the Hanaukyo family. However, she doesn't let that stop her from inventing things one after the other.

Konoe Tsurugi is the head of the security department and a master swordsman. She devotes all her energy to protecting the Hanaukyo family and its head, and her professionalism is so thorough that she even gives strict warnings to Taro, the head of the family.

Mercy King Ryuuka is the granddaughter of the head of the Mercy Royal Family, a large conglomerate that rivals the Hanaukyo family. She is in a rival relationship with the Hanaukyo family due to their family backgrounds, and as such, she picks a fight with Taro at every opportunity.

Sanae Yashima is a capable and hardworking woman who works under Konoe in the security department, but she can also be a bit clumsy. She is known as the "Konoe-sama LOVE" girl.

Lemon, Maron, and Melon are three girls who belong to the guardian corps. Their devotion to the head of the family is extreme, which always leaves Taro confused, but their personalities are innocent, cheerful, and healthy.
