story

Kofi, a gal who attends Tokyo Metropolitan Kofun High School, spends her youth surrounded by unique kofun, including a square-cornered burial mound, the heir to the throne of the Kofun world, and her homeroom teacher who is a Sengoku warlord. Her dream is to marry Nintoku-kun, a member of the royal family of the Kofun world. This is a story about Kofi's love, friendship, and youthful days.

Many charming characters appear around Coffey, including his childhood friend Daniel, his classmate Dorothy, and his homeroom teacher, Mr. Okehazama. Through his interactions with them, Coffey grows as a person.

Character Introduction

Coffey

A student in class 2 of Tokyo Metropolitan Kofun High School, she is a Kofun gal (Kogal). In human years, she is 17 years old. She has a curious and dreamy personality, but she can also be self-righteous. However, she is basically an obedient and good girl. Her dream for the future is to become the bride of Nintoku-kun, royalty of the Kofun world.

Dad

Kofi's father. He has a stubborn and strict personality, but he is actually a worrier who cares about his daughter. He currently runs a used car dealership called "JET KOFUN MOTORS." Before Kofi was born, he was an F1 driver who raced around the world and was known as the "Sonic Kofun."

Mom

Coffey's mother. She has a kind and gentle personality. She used to be in an F1 pit team and traveled around the world with Dad, and that's when she gave birth to Coffey. She's an amazing tyre changer, able to change a tyre in under 10 seconds, and her body is pink because there are cherry trees planted around the house.

Daniel

Coffey's childhood friend lives in a square-cornered burial mound. Because it is a burial mound, it is looked down upon not only by the other burial mounds but also by humans. Her dream for the future is to work at an advertising agency. She has a secret crush on Coffey.

Nintoku-kun

He is a classmate of Kofi's and a member of the royal family of the Kofun world. He is the heir to the throne. He is tall, handsome, intelligent, and good at sports, making him the object of admiration for the Kofun girls. However, he also has his own worries as the heir to the throne.

Professor Okehazama

Coffey's homeroom teacher. Because he has the personality of a warlord, he often behaves and speaks unreasonably. When Coffey first entered the school, he was not a defeated warrior, but the reason why he became like that is depicted in the movie "Coffey of the Kofun Gal: The Battle of Okehazama".

Dorothy

Coffey's classmate. A ganguro gal who adores Nintoku-kun, she is a love rival of Coffey. She is often harsh towards Daniel, but on the other hand, this is also an expression of her pure feelings for Nintoku-kun.
