■ Main Characters

Shana: A Flame Haze of Alastor, the Crimson Demon God "Heaven's Flame of Calamity" who holds the title of "Flame-Haired Burning-Eyed Hunter". Shana was the name given to her by Yuji. Her real name is unknown, and until then she had been calling herself "Nietono Shana's Flame Haze". The color of her flames is crimson, the same color as Alastor's flames. Her favorite food is melon bread.
・Sakai Yuuji A first-year student at Misaki High School. He is actually a torch boy, a substitute for his "already deceased self." Furthermore, he is a special torch called "Mystes" that contains within it the most sacred treasure of the Crimson Realm, the "Reiji Maigo." Although he is usually a somewhat unreliable boy, he sometimes shows a sharp mind during battle that surprises those around him.
Alastor: The true name of "Heaven's Flame of Calamity", King of the Crimson Realm. He gives Shana the powers of a Flame Haze. He expresses only his will through the pendant-shaped Sacred Treasure "Cocytus" that Shana wears. He not only trusts Shana as his contract holder, but also has fatherly feelings for her. The color of his flames is crimson.
Yoshida Kazumi A shy girl who is Yuuji's classmate. She develops feelings for Yuuji due to an incident at school one day, but she becomes worried when she somehow senses the close relationship between Shana and Yuuji. As she becomes more intimate with Shana and Yuuji, she becomes embroiled in an incident related to the Crimson Realm. She is good at cooking.
Margery Daw - A Flame Haze of Marchosias, the "Claws of Devastation," who holds the title of "Eulogy Chanter." She is skilled in using Unrestricted Magic in battle, and fights by confusing her opponents with her flexible transformations. A tall beauty with outstanding proportions. She likes alcohol. Her flames are the same color as Marchosias' flames, ultramarine.
- Marchosias: King of the Crimson Realm, whose true name is "The Claws of Destruction". His body sleeps inside Margery, and only his will is expressed through the book-shaped sacred treasure "Grimoire". A battle maniac with a vulgar, harsh laugh. He and Margery have a deep friendship through their slapstick comedy routines. The color of his flames is ultramarine.
Wilhelmina Carmel - A Flame Haze of Tiamatto, the "Dreamy Crown" who holds the title of "Master of Ten Thousands". A beautiful princess with unparalleled fighting skills who can deflect any attack with countless ribbons that shoot out from her. She has a blank expression and no apparent emotion, and speaks in a strange tone. The color of her flames is the same as Tiamatto's, cherry blossom pink.
Tiamatō: True name "Dreamy Crown", King of the Crimson Realm. Wilhelmina wears a head dress-type sacred artifact called a "Persona" that expresses only his will. He is more blunt and blunt than Wilhelmina. He only speaks in nouns, so it is difficult to read his emotions. His flames are cherry blossom pink.
Keisaku Sato A beautiful boy who is a classmate of Yuji. His family is one of the oldest and wealthiest in Misaki City. He seems to have lived a very rough life during his middle school years. He cooperates with Marjorie Daw, the Flame Haze "Eulogy Singer."
Tanaka Eita is a large boy who is a classmate of Yuji. In middle school, he hung out with Sato and lived a pretty rough life. He cooperates with Marjorie Daw, the Flame Haze "Eulogy Singer."
Hayato Ike is Yuuji's classmate and a friend since middle school. Nicknamed "Glasses Man." Aside from his specialty, studying, he is also an all-rounder who generally excels above average in other areas. He is relied upon in many ways, including serving as the class representative. He also helps Kazumi with her love for Yuuji.
A sporty girl who is a classmate of Ogata Matake Yuji. She has a beautiful face that is more "cool" than "cute". She is a member of the girls' volleyball club and is a regular first-year. She has a crush on Tanaka.

■ Main robot items

・Guze
A different world that exists "next to where you can't walk" to this world. Long ago, a human poet described the scenery of this different world that he had heard about from a Disciple like this.
・Disciples of the Crimson World
A general term for the inhabitants of the other world, the Crimson Realm. They are sometimes shortened to "Adults." Like the Crimson Realm, they were named by a poet. They came from the Crimson Realm, devoured humans, and wreaked havoc on this world.
・King of the Crimson Realm
Among the Denizens, he is an entity with particularly strong power. He is sometimes shortened to "King". Due to the size of his existence, he requires a great deal of "Power of Existence" to continue to manifest in this world.
・The power of existence
A fundamental energy necessary for existence in this world. The Addicts manifest themselves by stealing this power from those closest to them: humans.
・Jizaihou (Free-hand technique)
A general term for the techniques used by the "Crimson Denizens" and Flame Hazes to "freely" manipulate the "Power of Existence" to cause various phenomena.
・Free-standing type
A pattern that unfolds to activate the Unlimited Spell.
Manifestation
To appear in this world.
・Rinne
Servants of the Crimson World's Denizens are born by imbuing objects in this world with the Power of Existence. Their appearance and function change depending on the interests of their master and the object they are imbuing with power. Though they can gather the Power of Existence, they cannot add it to themselves, and cannot maintain their existence without a supply of power from their master.
・Torch
A substitute (Daitaibutsu) made from the embers of a human who died after having had the "Power of Existence" consumed. If the disappearance of an existence were to suddenly cause a large distortion in the world, it would be detected by the Flame Hazes, so the Adepts create this to maintain their connection with people and the world for the time being, and to soften the impact that the loss of existence would have on the world. Adepts and Flame Hazes can see a light burning in their chests, which is the embodiment of the remaining "Power of Existence". Because it is made from the remains of the person, it retains the memories and personality of the person before death, and life functions are also performed. As the remaining power is consumed, it gradually loses its relationships with those around it, its place, its role, and its presence, and eventually, when no one notices it, it quietly disappears. With its disappearance, all traces disappear, and it is as if it never existed. Torches that house within themselves the treasure of the "Crimson Denizens", the "Noble Phantasm", are called "Mystes"?
・Mystes
A torch that houses a Noble Phantasm within itself. When the host torch burns out, the Noble Phantasm inside is randomly transferred to the next torch. Also known as the "Traveling Treasure House."
・Noble Phantasm
An object that can cause a variety of phenomena.
・Fuzetsu
A dome-shaped space that stops its interior and conceals it from the outside by cutting off the "flow of causality" from the world. It is also called a causally isolated space. When the closure is performed, a wall of heat haze surrounds the area, and a crest consisting of a strange string of letters is drawn on the ground with fire lines. It is a form of Jizaiho devised in the early modern period by the genius Jizai master "Spiral Organ". It is deployed so that the "Crimson World Denizens" can hide when consuming the "Power of Existence", and so that Flame Hazes can use it as a battlefield against the "Dens". Everything in this world that is imprisoned inside the closure stops, but it has no effect on the "Dens" or Flame Hazes.
・Distortion of the World
A distortion has occurred throughout the world, including this world and the Crimson Realm, caused by the Crimson Denizens over-harvesting the Power of Existence. If it continues to expand like this, it is said that a Great Calamity will occur.
・Flame Haze
A general term for supernatural beings who fight against the "Crimson Denizens" who are upsetting the balance of this world. They are born by making a contract with the "King of the Crimson Realm," who has decided to fight against his brethren in order to prevent the spread of the "distortion of the world." They fight using the supernatural powers bestowed by the "King" that reside within them. Almost all of them were harmed in some way by the "Crimson Denizens" when they were humans, and are fighting for revenge.
・Sacred Treasures
They are objects created by the "King of the Crimson Realm" who makes a contract with a Flame Haze and puts the Flame Haze's body to sleep within his body, to express his will alone. They come in various forms, such as accessories and clothing. Examples include Shana's pendant "Cocytus" and Marjorie's large book "Grimoire."
・Nietono Shana
Shana's unsheathed long sword. A sturdy masterpiece that is not affected by any power or magic spells. Its original owner was Tenmoku Ippo, the "worst Mystes in history," also known as the Monster Torch. It is also the origin of her name.
・True name
The real name that a Denier has in the Crimson World.
・Melon bread
This is the favorite food of Shana, who has an extreme sweet tooth. Will she regain her innocent girlish expression only when she eats this?
・Destruction
A word used by Flame Hazes when slaughtering Admirals.
・Tools of fratricide and annihilation
A derogatory term for Flame Hazes used by the Disciples.
・"The Flames of Heaven" Alastor
He is one of the "Kings", the powerful beings in the neighboring world, the "Crimson Realm". His true name is "Heavenly Flames", which means "to burn everything down" in the "Crimson Realm", and "Alastor" is the nickname he has given himself in this world (the other "Kings" follow the same naming rule). He only expresses his consciousness through "Cocytus", a pendant-shaped sacred artifact designed with a gold ring on a black jewel.
・Flame-Haired Burning-Eyed Hunter
The title of a Flame Haze who made a contract with "The Flames of Heaven" Alastor. Currently Shana.

・[Revolution]
A large group of "Crimson Denizens" that existed in Europe. With their eccentric ideology, they would brazenly break the unspoken rules that existed between Flame Hazes and Denizens and go on a rampage (they called it a "movement"). Because of the fight against this organization, there were almost no Flame Hazes left in America in the mid-20th century.

・Silver Seal
It is a magic spell that Yuuji Sakai quickly deployed when he was attacked by Pheles during the Autumn Festival. "Silver" is the color of the nemesis of Margery Daw, the "Eulogy Singer."
・Engage Link
The term "Mystes of the Reiji Maiden" refers to Johan, the "Eternal Lover," and Pheles, the King of the Crimson Realm. The power of their existence is maintained by the Reiji Maiden, a kind of perpetual motion machine, so they are known as harmless beings that do not interfere with anyone and do not devour humans.
・Wind Wheel
A magic spell used by Pheles. It allows the user to continually search for a target through human contact, and at the same time, becomes an exit that transports the user to the point where the target is found, called "Wind Message." Hecate's free-form magic. It is generated from her great staff, Trigon. Along with the clear sound played by the ring, bright light blue bullets fly out like a meteor shower.
・False vessel
A human disguise released by Hecate. Konoe Fumina. Because her karma to the Crimson Realm had been severed by Belphegor's Noble Phantasm, Tartarus, her presence was that of a human.

・Surprise attack
Sabrac's specialty is the first attack. It launches a large-scale simultaneous attack made of a huge amount of flame and sword, regardless of the surroundings, and destroys the enemy casually. Since the attack itself can only be performed roughly, it is difficult to adjust the strength or aim.
・Akane-iro no Dotou (Scarlet Waves)
Sabrac's attack is a huge tsunami of flames. Inside it, a large number of swords of all sizes dance with the flames, and enemies engulfed in the tsunami are exposed to the blades and flames. It is described as a hellish march by the ghosts of blades, or a chaotic feast seeking something to cut.
・Countless Swords
Sabrac collects blades. He has them in various shapes. Incidentally, Sabrac was furious when the "Professor" remodeled his beloved sword, "Hystrix," into a drill without permission. Since then, the relationship between the two has been strained.
・Statue of Ao
It was created as one of the "experiments" planned by the Professor and Bal Masque, in order to give birth to Denizens into this world, the kind that could only be born in the Crimson Realm.
