James Wan announced that Aquaman 2 has officially started filming and will be released on December 16, 2022

Today (June 29), director James Wan revealed that the new DC film "Aquaman 2" has started filming. The background of the photo is a snowy world. "Aquaman 2" is titled "Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom" and will be released in North America on December 16, 2022.

Aquaman 2 is currently filming in London. Jason Momoa returns to play Aquaman, Patrick Wilson returns to play King Orm, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II returns to play Black Manta, Dolph Lundgren returns to play King Nereus of Xebel, and James Wan continues to direct.

Director Wan previously said that the sequel will be more serious and more closely related to the environment we live in now. It will continue the horror atmosphere of the underwater world in the first film and add his favorite horror elements.
