Theatrical version of "Mobile Suit Gundam: Hathaway's Flash" postponed to May 21

Today (April 26), the official announcement of the theatrical animation "Mobile Suit Gundam: Hathaway's Flash" was made that due to the impact of Japan's state of emergency declaration, the release of the film in Japan will be postponed to May 21.

"Mobile Suit Gundam: Hathaway's Flash" is adapted from the novel of the same name written by Yoshiyuki Tomino in 1989 and produced by SUNRISE. It tells the story of UC105, 12 years after the end of the Second Neo Zeon War. Due to the corruption of the Earth Federation government and the acceleration of environmental pollution on Earth, while forcing civilians to go to space, they also began to implement an inhumane policy of "human hunting."

In this situation, Hathaway, who inherited the thoughts of Amuro Ray and Char Aznable and became a warrior who constantly struggled for his inner will and path, met Federation Army Colonel Kayneth Sreck and the mysterious girl Kiki Andalusia, and this was an encounter that changed their fate.

The theatrical animation "Mobile Suit Gundam: Hathaway's Flash" will be postponed to May 21 in Japan.
