Kyoto Animation's new film "Free! - the Final Stroke -" is scheduled to be released on September 17

Kyoto Animation's (Kyoto Animation) classic masterpiece "Free!" is about to launch a new theatrical version. The official announced today on April 26 that the new animated film "Free!–the Final Stroke–" will be released in two parts. The first part will be released on September 17, 2021, and the second part will be released on April 22, 2022. Stay tuned.

The "Free!" series is a rare swimming series among the many animation factions in the island country. It is produced by Kyoto Animation and tells the inspirational story of several passionate teenagers gathering in the swimming club to challenge their youth and themselves. It is very popular among fans. This time, "Free! - the Final Stroke -" will be the final chapter of the series, the 8-year classic.
